What is proofreading?

A proof copy is a version of a manuscript that has been typeset after copy editing. Proof typescripts often contain typographical errors introduced by mistyping. Traditionally, a proofreader checks the typeset copy and marks any errors using standard proof correction marks.

What can I offer you?

Having done a course in proofreading and copy editing and with nearly 20 years of experience as a teacher, I can supply you with the information you need to make your document amazing. Whether you need to impress your boss, clients/customers, or you need to impress someone who is looking to employ staff, the reasons are endless. I am the person who can help you make a great impression.

Do you need someone to check over important documents like exam papers, teaching material, legal papers, etc? Don't take the risk of having any unacceptable mistakes.

Alternatively, are you a professional writer and you need someone to look over your work because you are selling it?

There are many reasons to have someone look over your documents. I have found the two main ones to be that your time is valuable, and often when you have written a document you don't have time to check it properly. Secondly, people will often read it as they thought they wrote it, rather than noticing errors.

I can make your document so amazing, everyone will love it.

For a two to five page document I would endeaver to return it within 48 hours. This is not a guarantee so the best way to find out is to ask for an estimate and I will also give you my turnaround time. It will depend a lot on how much work I have on.
